Thanks for sharing. Someone in Rep Ribble's district should consider trying to contact him and figure out where this stands in the US House. I had thought he was taking action on it a while ago, but I feel like that stalled.
I don't know how anyone can argue the State did a poor job managing wolves. During the 3 year 'experiment,' WI proved they can manage them sustainably. After all, the population is up this year despite last years hunt. Figure that one out. I feel sorry for the landowners that have wolf packs on or near their property. They pay good money for property taxes and pd good money for the property itself, perhaps to be used for deer hunting, and now these wolves are increasingly negatively impacting the opportunity for those landowners. I know people in that situation. To say they are upset is an understatement. Bottom line- the wolf population needs to be kept in check and it's so darn frustrating, b/c WI executed well a plan to do just that, and now their hands are pretty much tied.
